What Does Acupuncture Treat?
Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine can treat a variety of ailments. In 1997, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) released an abstract showing efficacy of acupuncture. In 2003, the World Health Organization (WHO) released a report containing specific diseases, symptoms, and conditions for which acupuncture has been proven through controlled trials to be an effective treatment. Both the WHO and NIH recognize acupuncture for treating various conditions which are included in the list below.
Please note that Acupuncture is not limited to only these conditions. Acupuncture can treat a variety of conditions successfully.
